Viewer 2026.2f1178 includes fixes and improvements across avatars, outfits, shop flows, chat, meetings, notifications, screenshots, creator tools, localisation, and viewer stability.

Hi everyone,

Viewer 2026.2f1178 is now available. This update includes improvements across avatars, outfits, shop flows, chat, meetings, notifications, screenshots, creator tools, localisation, and general stability.

Changes

  • Music Stream: Fixed the Music Stream control in the top-right toolbar, making region audio easier to turn on and off when music streams are available.
  • Avatars and outfits: Improved reliability when editing, saving, and loading outfits. This includes fixes for missing clothing, full-body replacements, avatar scaling, floating avatars, hair colour, hats, and nameplate positioning.
  • Shop and cart: Fixed several shop and cart issues, including disappearing cart items, mismatched totals, checkout failures, bundle access problems, owned-item messaging, and price selection behaviour.
  • Meetings and events: Improved meeting and event flows, including attendee search, duplicate invitations, declined users, invite lists, and event joining from the website.
  • Chat: Fixed several chat issues involving missing messages, emoji placement, copy behaviour, scrolling, group chat visibility, chat window movement, and messages being routed to the wrong place.
  • Notifications: Fixed issues where accepted, declined, duplicate, or stale notifications could reappear or fail to clear correctly.
  • Screenshots and snapshots: Fixed snapshot and screenshot issues, including feedback screenshot timing, colour/filter issues, and outdated Twitter wording.
  • Login and accounts: Fixed login, logout, registration, password, and account creation issues, including stuck loading states, missing validation messages, remembered passwords, and deleted-world prompts.
  • Profiles and regions: Improved layout behaviour for profiles and region lists, especially where users have a large number of regions.
  • World offline state: Improved the world offline message flow by reducing confusing button behaviour.
  • Localisation: Fixed layout and text issues across several languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hebrew, Arabic, and Chinese.
  • Mac: Fixed Mac-specific issues including crashes, camera focus problems, fullscreen shortcut behaviour, and pink scene rendering.
  • Creator tools: Fixed creator and in-world editing issues involving gizmos, furniture placement, hidden floors, water zone values, normal maps, component actions, and region editing behaviour.
  • Stability: Improved viewer stability with fixes for crashes, loading hangs, cache corruption, server crash risk, and graphics settings persistence.
  • Windows: Fixed publisher information so the app is no longer shown as an unknown publisher in the Windows network access prompt.
  • Security: Improved web security on sine.space by disabling iframe embedding where it is no longer needed.
  • GLTF: Added early GLTF support for app and content processing. This is mainly relevant to creator and platform workflows at this stage.

Known Issues

  • GLTF support is still in early rollout. Some processor deployment and minor follow-up work may still be required before treating this as fully available for all creator workflows.
