We’ve got lots of fixes and improvements in this release. The Event system has received some improvements both in the Create Event window and the Edit Event window. Event invites will now show in notifications.

An Audio test panel for first time login has been added - users can do an audio-video test or skip the test before joining the region. The audio test can also be done later by clicking on the settings and on to audio test which will aid in situations where a user cannot get voice chat working.

Avatar improvements include toggle for run/walk and for crouches, sliders to adjust and tweak movement, turning, running and walking speeds. Bugs squashed include avatars not saving and loading, avatar can sometimes end up in a jump loop after spawning, flying action won't be triggered when pressing Ctrl + R. Also avatars can now squeeze through the crowd more aesthetically.

FEATURES

  • When you preview an attachment for head or feet the camera zooms to show the attachment.

  • Added avatar property to clothing item setting for replacing the built-in animation skeleton on humanoid avatars.

  • Added Boolean as an option for ScriptingData Component.

  • Added functionality for changing UI text colour.

  • Added option to call seat events using Lua

  • Flying action won't be triggered when pressing Ctrl + R

  • Tweaked the algorithm of walking through crowded avatars

  • Space.Dialogues.OpenURL can now open URLS without https:// as well.

  • RoomFurniture can take an optional transform to alter the facing direction of the object on placement.

  • Improved EULA window for the client.

  • Shoutcast window will now show station URL

  • Added a lot of improvements to Event UI ( Event window, Create window and edit event ). We will be adding more improvements to the event guest window in future releases. We are expecting this to be easier to use.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue with clothing purchases. Users will get a notification to wear the clothing when they purchase a clothing item matching their gender.

  • Fixed an issue with the attachment preview component.

  • Fixed an issue with shop preview where if user previewed any item after vehicle it will stay in the window.

  • Fixed an issue with radio's Lua script with null references

  • Fixed an issue with Lua API for the line renderer. If ScriptingRuntime's index is Lua standard, the index will be 1

  • Fixed an issue with Lua Space.Log("Test 1 >> " .. tostring(test())); it now returns 0 instead of one as per Lua spec.

  • Fixed an issue where crouch action would trigger accidentally when the avatars landed on the ground.

  • Fixed an issue with camera preview control and avatar height.

  • Fixed a couple of bugs with water zone and Volumetric light components which made them stop working.

  • Fixed a bug with avatar saving and loading.

  • Disabled rigid body from shop preview, this will stop some unexpected bugs in shop preview.

  • Fixed an issue with pattern name not displaying correctly.

  • Fixed an issue with text being too close to camera sliders

  • Fixed an issue with groups where online members were not displayed correctly.

  • Fixed an issue with Hifi audio direction.

  • Fixed an issue where avatars won't lift their legs if the slope angle is too large.

  • Fixed an issue with components losing data through serialization.

  • Fixed an issue with a scroll in the search field.

  • Fixed an issue with Mail, where it didn't fill the window correctly.

  • Fixed a text alignment issue with long region names in some places of UI

  • Fixed a bug with the region reset option not resetting the region to its original state.

  • Fixed a bug with clickable activator when there are no persistent listeners.

  • Fixed a minor bug with the room size limit display.

  • Fixed a couple of bugs with the shout cast component.

  • Fixed an issue of camera and gesture panel getting stuck when you are in Emulation view.

  • Fixed an issue with the avatar constantly jumping after spawning.
